About

Alyssa is stage and film actor, voiceover artist, and educator based out of Seattle. She has worked with a variety of local theater companies over the years, including Taproot Theatre Company, Book-It Repertory, Sound Theatre Company, GreenStage, The Endangered Species Project, and many others. More recently, her performing work has expanded to local film, print, and webseries projects. Alyssa is also an Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) certified in several weapon styles, and has worked as a performer, fight captain, and choreographer for both film and theater.

 

Alyssa trained in acting at an early age with the Seattle Children's Theater Drama School, later earning her BA in Drama from the University of Washington with special emphasis on text study and physical approaches to performance. She also trained at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy in ensemble work, mask, clown, and physical theater. Alyssa now works intermittently as a museum educator and independent teaching artist in addition to her acting.
